This promotional give away is part of an awareness program by author and artist Christopharo to create interest and advocacy for mental healthcare and self-empowerment for people through a new fantasy story.

Starting the 25^th of May, 2024, Christopharo will feature episodes from an online series fantasy story entitled Arcade Dawn & the Curse of Redgrave.

Samantha Villalobos, a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist said: “Many characters in stories I’ve read deal with characters with various mental health issues. But not many stories show characters actively seeking treatment for them. There’s a growing need for mental healthcare and I can see the value of stories that advocate for mental wellness and try to reduce the stigma around seeking help.

Christopharo, the author of Arcade Dawn said: “I love writing fantasy and helping people. I decided to create an entertaining fantasy story designed to inspire people to better their lives. I feel stories that show people seeking professional help with mental health issues will help normalize a person’s notion of mental healthcare. I’ve certainly had my share of trauma, depression, and other things that I’ve been treated for. I’ve also noticed there’s an opportunity to help others by encouraging people to get the professional help they need. So that’s why I’m advocating for it. However, with that said, I think people are also going enjoy the story for its own sake as well. Especially fans of Netflix’s Stranger Things and Ghostbusters Afterlife.”

Arcade Dawn & the Curse of Redgrave is a series that is adapted from an epic novel (also by Christopharo) that is set to be published this fall of 2024, available in hardcover and softcover formats.
